Happy New Year with Gratitude
In celebration and gratitude of our final day of 2018, I wanted to share a very special moment from our @dealornodealcnbc Season Premiere. Booking Deal Or No Deal was a really big deal for me!!! haha, get it? JK. Truly though, becoming a part of the Deal Or No Deal family was one of the most monumentally life-changing things that has ever happened to me. It’s a dream! Years of literal blood, sweat, tears, heartache, sacrifice, love, and hope, went into preparing me for this job, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🙌🏼

When dreams are paired with passion, hope, and tenacity, they become an undeniable force. We, as humans, have an incredible ability to manifest our dreams and create a life that we have dreamt of. The mind is a fascinating and powerful tool. When our dreams benefit others, meaning they serve a greater good, this intention of goodness acts as a catalyst. It’s as if goodness is the key ingredient or gasoline, fueling the manifestation of dreams. 🤟🏼

Balancing Strength and Vulnerability
Strength often comes from within. Finding the balance between strength and vulnerability is key, for it is the vulnerability that allows room for growth and change. As we evolve, our strengths and weaknesses may also change over time.
When we embrace our weaknesses, they automatically become stronger, as acknowledgment allows us to address areas in which we can grow.
Embracing your true self, strengths and weaknesses, can often make you feel vulnerable. But that is what makes us human, and that’s what makes life beautiful. Always, JLee

Briefcase Magic: Full of Hopes and Dreams
Our visit with the sweet little kiddos at @shrinershospitals was nothing short of magical!! 🎄🙌🏼 When kids ask me what’s in my briefcase, I often find myself telling them “It’s full of dreams and hope.” I’ll say, “It’s full of endless possibilities!!” Pretty cool, huh?
Haha, I know… I sometimes come across as corny, cheesy or dorky. You name it, I’ve been called it before and I’m okay with it. Because IF I can give hope, to just one kid out there, that’s all that matters.
It sounds silly, but I like to believe that my briefcase harbors the power to bring some goodness, some joy, some love, some hope, and some inspiration, to this world. THE SECRET SUPERHERO POWER IS GOODNESS, AND THE MAGIC OCCURS WHEN GOODNESS IS SHARED.

A Life-changing Experience
There were so many moments, so many times, where my heart was completely captured, and I was moved to tears. Being a part of such an incredibly awesome show, like @dealornodealcnbc is truly life-changing. Not only is it life-changing for the wonderful contestants and their families, it was also life changing for me.
As an empath (one who can apprehend the mental and emotional states of others), every day on DEAL OR NO DEAL was an emotional adventure!! Not only did I have the opportunity to connect with each and every one of our contestants, but I could truly feel, read, and understand their feelings and heightened emotions. The energetic exchange that occurred for me daily, on that stage, was nothing short of miraculous. It’s was magical!!!
As you join us and watch our BRAND NEW Deal Or No Deal Season play out, you will no doubt see me laugh, cry, get nervous, be extremely overcome with joy and so much more!!! I truly encourage you to join us on this heartfelt and emotionally beautiful journey.

A Season Premiere Full of Heart
I can’t believe our Season Premiere is finally here!!!!! Countless hours, blood, sweat, tears and so much love, went into making this incredible show. @dealornodealcnbc is far from your ordinary game show. Deal Or No Deal is iconic because it’s full of heart. Each briefcase model brings something special to the table and so does every contestant. Every heart and soul involved with creating this show is a unique and special individual. And I couldn’t be more grateful to be a part of this team and family. Emotionally Preparing for the Premiere
I spent the weekend mentally and emotionally preparing for the premiere. Over the past few months, an incredible team of a few hundred people, came together, with the goal of resurrecting one of television’s most beloved shows, @dealornodealcnbc ☺️🙌🏼

Our host @howiemandel is hands down, one of the most brilliant and genuine, on-camera personalities. Having the opportunity to work with him, has been nothing short of a blessing. Howie values people, family and heart. The Mandel’s made us feel like a part of the family, which was truly kind, especially since we were filming on-location aka away from home. ❤️🙌🏼

The cast, crew and production, have become like a family to me. We spent countless hours together, dreaming, laughing, crying, in joy and in pain. The girls have become sisters to me, as we share an undeniable bond. 🤟🏼

In @people Magazine!!! 😱🤩🙌🏼🙌🏼 I grew up flipping through the pages of People Magazine, so this is pretty cool. From fake photo shoots as a kid, to spreads in The LA Times and People Magazine, I am profoundly grateful. 🏆❤️🙌🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼

Truthfully, when I saw this, I immediately began criticizing myself. I was thinking how my head oddly resembles Humpty Dumpty and a range of other critiques… but I stopped, pondered in silence and meditated on it. Shortly after, I realized I’m entering a new phase of my life that will benefit from embracing a new level of grace and humility, as the world begins to see me, imperfections and all. We are human and perfectly imperfect. ✌🏼
Crushing Stereotypes
So grateful to be part of such a wonderfully modern & diverse cast!!! Asians are so rarely represented in non-stereotypical roles, in tv and film, that I found myself losing out on tons of acting jobs because the roles were rather racist, solely seeking Japanese or Mandarin speakers… This is America, it’s 2018, why are there no roles for Asian Americans? 🤷🏻♀️ The constant Asian stereotypes are obsolete.
I am a 1st generation, adoptee and I am #Korean #Japanese #Chinese 🇰🇷🇯🇵🇨🇳 English is my first language, as I grew up in Colorado. Being adopted & raised in #Colorado I didn’t look like any of my classmates or friends. I never saw Asians in tv or film and would be confused/disappointed when I looked in the mirror bc despite being American, individuals who looked like me, were never represented as American. I was ashamed of the way I looked and had people tell me they couldn’t be my friend or date me because I was Asian and/or adopted. 💔
DEAL is the first show to cast me for ME and embraces the fact that I am an #adopted Asian American. I couldn’t be prouder to be smashing stereotypes and representing a new era for all #AsianAmericans THANK YOU @dealornodeal @cnbc for supporting #diversity 🤟🏼❤️🙌🏼
